Swing Set Accessories

Need some extra swing set chain, seat covers or other swing set accessories? Swingsets.net has you covered with information to help you create or repair your swingset.

You had been saving your hard-earned money for quite a while, you spent many hours researching the Internet and the local market, you asked around among your relatives, friends and neighbors, and you inquired with experts. Finally and at long last you bought your child a swing set. That was months and months ago, maybe even a couple of years. You look out into your backyard and are proud of yourself for having made such a wise decision because, when other games and toys have long been abandoned, this swing set still evokes excitement. Your child loves it today every bid as much as he loved it the day you set it up. With or without little friends he plays with it every day—breathing in fresh outdoor air, building strength and coordination, and exercising his creativity and imagination.

No other plaything comes even close to accomplishing all that. However, it is now the proverbial old shoe—familiar and comfortable. It continues to excite and entertain but maybe it is time to add a new feature for more fun and maybe some extra challenge. Swing set accessories are what you are thinking of.

Once again you are researching and asking around and once again you are making a wise decision because swing set accessories add hours of fun and healthy exercise of little bodies and minds while providing more playtime and inspiring fancifully daydreaming. And with such a huge selection of add-ons to choose from it can be confusing. Accessories are made of a variety of durable materials such as woods, metals, molded thermoplastics and vinyls, and are manufactured by different companies in countless colors. Accessories for swing sets are limited only by ones imagination and, of course, ones pocketbook.

For your child’s safety and your peace of mind please remember the following when shopping for swing set accessories:

  1. For a perfect fit, make sure the accessory that you intend to buy has either come from the same manufacturer as the rest of the swing set, or that it is approved by that manufacturer.
  2. Make sure that the accessory you select is age appropriate.
  3. Be sure to closely follow the instructions when attaching the accessory and test it out thoroughly before allowing your child to play with it.
  4. Check to see if additional ground protection is needed due to the added accessory.
  5. Follow the same safety precautions that you followed when you initially assembled the swing set.
  6. Continue to follow all safety procedures as before, especially adult supervision at all time.

Have fun watching your child have the time of his life.
