Sunray swing sets have been designed, engineered and manufactured with your children’s safety in mind but that is not enough. Appropriate behavior must be addressed as well. Before allowing children to play on the Sunray swing set certain rules must be carefully reviewed:

• No more than six to ten children and no more than a combined weight of 1,000 pounds should be allowed to play on the Sunray swing set at one time.
• The Sunray swing set is recommended for children between three and eleven years of age.
• Remove swings from the monkey swing combo before children are allowed to use the monkey bars.
• Close supervision of a mature and responsible adult is required at all times when children are at play.
• Children must never be allowed to walk in front of, behind of or between any moving parts while they are in use.
• Children must never be permitted to push empty swings, twist chains or ropes or jump off decks or any moving equipment.
• Looping chains or ropes over the top support bars may weaken them and should never be allowed.
• No part of the Sunray swing set is to be used in any way other than what it was intended for.
• Confirm regularly that all ropes and chains are secure at both ends.
• Be sure that there are no gaps between the slide bed and the slide screws.
• Make sure that all ropes are tight so that they could not be looped back on themselves.
• Children must never approach the Sunray swing sets with loose clothing, untied shoelaces, strings, ropes, scarves, beads, draw strings, etc. for these can lead to strangulation.
• Children must not be allowed to twist swings because it may break the chains.
• Do not allow children to use the slide if it becomes overly heated from the sun.
• Children may not play on the Sunray swing set when it is wet.
• Never allow children to stand or kneel on the swing seats.
• Only one person may use the swing at a time with a maximum weight of 150 pounds.
