• Anchor your swing set in concrete and to ensure a safe playing area be sure that all anchoring devices, including concrete, are placed deep below ground level.
• Install the swing set over a level grassy area away from fences, tree stumps and other potential dangerous objects, never over asphalt, concrete, gravel or other hard surfaces that can cause severe injuries in case of falls. Furthermore, use a proper surface under and around the swing set—a surface that is soft and thick enough to cushion and absorb the impact of a fall and that will extend at least six feet past the swing set but, depending on the size and height, may require additional coverage.

• Do not allow children under the age of two near or around the swing set whether with or without you.
